Yoga for Endometriosis & Pelvic Pain | 20 Mins Gentle Yoga Practice to Manage Endometriosis Pain

Endometriosis is a disorder in which the tissue that normally lines the uterus grows outside the uterus on the ovaries, bowel, rectum, vagina or pelvic lining. The presence of the additional tissues can cause pelvic pain and make periods significantly more painful than they usually are.
There is no known treatment for endometriosis except surgery but its symptoms can be managed via medication. Yoga has also shown to help in managing the pain associated with endometriosis and improving overall quality fo life.

The aim of this practice is going to be to help you open up and bring some mobility to the pelvic region in order to increase the blood circulation in the area. It will also help in reducing stress and anxiety. It will be best to do this close to wall and have a few cushions and a blanket handy. Once you are ready, let’s hop onto our mat and get going.
